Millwright (Production) 

Large Hydraulics & Automation Company is seeking a Millwright (Production) for their Johannesburg Branch.

Are you passionate about customer service and have a natural talent for assembling and setting up machinery for others to use in industry? We are looking for a qualified Millwright that is willing to learn and push his skillset to the next level.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Assembling machinery and equipment before installation using power tools and welding equipment.
• Performing diagnostic tests on functioning machinery to ensure it’s safe.
• Identifying differences in dimensions and shapes of components.
• Performing general electrical maintenance on workshop equipment.
• Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control and wiring.

Qualifications and experience:

• Post Matric or N3 with Certification as a Millwright Red Seal Trade test.
• Min 3 5 years proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
• Hydraulic skill will be a big advantage.
• Good communication and people skills. (Team Player)
• Work overtime from time to time.
• Code 8 driver licence.
• Working under pressure.
