Key areas of responsibility are:
ERP System Support & Maintenance
• Provide day-to-day support for the SYSPRO ERP system, particularly financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Book).
• Troubleshoot system issues and resolve user queries in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity.
Financial Module Management
• Configure and maintain finance-related modules within SYSPRO.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with accounting standards.
Business Process Optimization
• Analyse current financial workflows and recommend ERP-driven improvements.
• Implement system enhancements to streamline processes such as invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with finance teams to align ERP functionality with business needs.
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Develop and maintain financial reports using SYSPRO tools (e.g., SQL, reporting services).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis through ERP data.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements (System-generated reports and logs, Evidence of controls and approvals).
User Training & Documentation
• Train finance users on SYSPRO functionalities and best practices.
• Create and maintain user manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for ERP finance-related queries.
System Upgrades & Projects
• Participate in ERP upgrades, testing, and new module implementations.
• Support integration with other business systems.
• Assist in data migration and validation activities.
ERP Configuration and Management
• Configure and maintain SYSPRO financial modules, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Book
• Fixed Assets
• Inventory (financial integration)

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience working with SYSPRO ERP, especially financial modules.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with SQL and report writing tools is advantageous.
• Experience in ERP implementation or support environments preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments using SYSPRO
• Exposure to system integrations and business intelligence tools
• Familiarity with local financial regulations and tax requirements
